'My Guardian Dear' (01/01)
[info]anya2112 asked for sweet/sexy Methos. I'm not sure if this qualifies, but it's the thought that counts, right?

Note to my Iron Man readers: this actually is not an Iron Man story, but it does have my character from those IM stories, Charlotte Sparrow, in it. Since this is set in 1767, I think you can see it's a bit before Tony's time! But I hope you might enjoy it even without Tony :)

Characters: Methos, Charlotte Sparrow.
Notes: PG, Highlander, crossover with Pirates of the Caribbean, a story in the ‘Echoes the Sea’ series. Prequel to One Day.
Summary: Guardian angels can be found in the strangest places, even amongst pirates in lands far from home.

'The Currency of Trust' (03/03)
Characters: Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, Obadiah Stane, Charlotte Sparrow
Notes: PG13, Complete, Iron Man with the concept of immortality from Highlander, a story in the ‘Echoes the Sea’ series. Sequel to Tequila Lullaby, set just after Rhodey blows Tony off, and the day before the Board of Directors meeting that Stane attends in New York. Implied Tony/Pepper. Many thanks to [info]ninjababe and [info]strangevisitor7 for the beta -- it's much appreciated!
Summary: The bright light of day can’t quite dispel the darkness that surrounds Tony, so the people closest to him do their best to help with a little love and a few chocolate chip waffles.

My thanks to the folks over at [info]ironman_lounge for helping out every time I had a question!

The Currency of Trust ~ Part III

"Is it a… gauntlet?" Charlotte asked uncertainly as she ran a finger down the gleaming metal device lying on the table.

"You could call it that," Tony replied. "But the best way to explain is by demonstrating."

After reassuring Pepper that they hadn’t spilled any blood, they had come downstairs to Tony's workshop, what Charlotte called his 'inner sanctum and toy box', so he could finally show her what he'd been working on with such intensity. Last night, when she'd arrived, there’d been some sort of robot leg on the worktable opposite the one with the gauntlet. )

The Currency of Trust ~ Part I

The granite of the stairs was cool against Charlotte’s bare feet as she headed down to the living room from the guest wing. Wearing jeans and a t-shirt that read ‘Friends Don’t Let Friends Drink White Zinfandel’, she was desperate for a cup of tea after last night’s tequila blowout with Tony. )

'Tequila Lullaby' (01/01)
Yes, it is indeed a sequel to Real Friends Buy You In-N-Out. The angst, it called to us. I swear I'm going to try and work on the sequel to Practical Applications next! There will be a third segment to this series, I think it needs some wrapping up and Pepper needs some screen time too :)

Characters: Tony Stark, Charlotte Sparrow
Notes: PG15, sequel to Real Friends Buy You In-N-Out.
Summary: Burgers, tequila, and the importance of friendship and simple human touch when you're hurting.

'Tequila Lullaby'

Charlotte stretched her arm out across the bed, not at all sure where she was. They weren’t her sheets -- her sheets weren’t silk. Oh…right. Tony’s; she was at Tony’s. Memory trickled back. They’d gone for burgers. Tony’d had four, leading her to inquire if his Arc Reactor required beef and cheese for fuel. That had earned her a genuine smile. Then they’d come back here and there had been tequila, lots and lots of tequila. She vaguely remembered playing the piano, Tony throwing out requests that got crazier with each shot of alcohol. )

'Real Friends Buy You In-N-Out' (01/01)
I did it again. More Iron Man ficagge. This is a prequel to 'Practical Applications' and is all angsty and broody. I've discovered there's a tired to angst ratio when I write. And I was really tired. The wine probably didn't help either. I'll probably regret posting it in the morning. But for now...

Characters: Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, Charlotte Sparrow
Notes: PG15, implied Tony/Pepper, prequel to 'Practical Applications'.
Summary: It's been a week since Tony's been back home and a concerned Pepper calls in reinforcements.

'Practical Applications' (02/02)
This fic has been a trip. I'm still rather baffled by its existence, but what can you do? Thanks to everyone who prodded me to actually write it. It was actually fun, despite the fact that Tony really never shuts up :) Thanks to [info]ninjababe, [info]dejla, and [info]kensieg who looked it over in progress. I appreciate it!

Characters: Tony Stark, Methos, Charlotte Sparrow
Notes: PG15, Iron Man/Highlander, implied Tony/Pepper.
Summary: Tony looks up an old friend, sure that he has an offer she couldn't possibly refuse.

'Practical Applications' (01/02)
I'm throwing this out here since I don't know where the hell it came from! Basically, it's an outtake, or a detour, of the story I'm currently writing, "I Am Going To The West", which is a Highlander fic. Why did I write this? I wrote it because Tony Stark is annoying and pushy and wouldn't shut up! He was peeved he'd been sidelined in favour of Methos and company, so to get some peace, so I can finish my story, I threw him a cookie. Except he tricked me, and it's gone from short little fic to an epic. Part two is being worked on as you read.

Characters: Tony Stark, Methos, Charlotte Sparrow
Notes: PG15, Iron Man/Highlander, WIP, formerly known as the 'I Have No Idea What This Is' Fic, implied Tony/Pepper.
Summary: Tony looks up an old friend, sure he has an offer she couldn't possibly refuse.

An unexpected visitor... )

'I Am Going To The West' (02/??)
Part two, with me well into part three! Thanks to everyone who offered their eyeballs tonight :)

Rating: PG15
Notes: The title from a song of the same name by Connie Dover, WIP.
Characters: Methos, Duncan MacLeod, Original Characters.
Summary: It’s been a century and a half since Methos and Charlotte last met, and Duncan wants to know all the details.

I Am Going To The West

Methos made his way north to Rancho Caballo Rojo. According to Hank Jenkins’ directions, he should almost be there. A fence line had appeared a few minutes before and next should be the entrance to the road leading to the Black place. The gentle murmur of the Rio Grande floated around him, and the sharp light of the autumn sun warmed his face. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and allowed himself to relax, his horse setting the pace.

It would be good to stay in one place for a time. Even if it was just for a winter. He’d left ‘Doctor Benjamin Adams’ behind a few years ago, and still was in that place where he didn’t feel quite right in his skin; comfortable in this new persona. He’d left ‘Doctor Benjamin Adams’ behind a few years ago, and still was in that place where he didn’t feel quite right in his skin; comfortable in this new persona. ‘Matthew Adamson’ needed to gather some moss to do that, which meant this rolling stone needed to rest. )
