I've received some very favourable comments on Santa Elena Welcomes You, which I posted to the Queen of Swords fanfiction list. What particularly makes me happy is that Isabelle is an original character that the readers have taken to. It's always great getting comments on your fic, but I'm very fond of my 'originals', so I love it when they get a little attention too.

I'm listening to my new music, and Penelope's Song by Loreena McKennitt just started. For those of you reading 'I Remember You Not Fondly', this was the song I was thinking of during the part where Triona has been burning in the sun and hears music as she comes back to life. The lyrics seemed fitting somehow.

( Now that the time has come Soon gone is the day There upon some distant shore You'll hear me say )

I think it works as a song that fits the story overall. Don't you think?
