The reason I'm 'Ithildin' here instead of 'Ithidrial' like I am on LJ is because I've used 'Ithildin' online since 1995, but when I signed up for an LJ, it was already taken. Believe it or not, 'ithildin' was an obscure Tolkien Elvish word before the movies came out. I came across lots of 'Mithrils', but never another 'Ithildin'. When I signed up for an IJ, 'Ithildin' was available, so I snagged it.

So here on IJ, I'm really me!
