I've used AdBlock, the Firefox plugin for several years, and I LOVE it. But I didn't know it could be so selctive! galadhir explains how to use it remove the Tweak face icon from next to user names.

There is a Message Center now. It's been added since the last time I checked. Except it doesn't seem to be 'on'. I'm either not doing something to get it working, or the function itself is not yet active.

Later: it's working now. but I'm not sure how it happened :)

But for now, LJ will remain my primary journal. But since it seems quite a few of my f'list are making the switch to IJ permanent, I am going to endeavor to cross post more. Till now, this has just been a fic backup for the most part, but I'll try and remember to put more 'other' content here as well from now on -- 'try' being the operative word :)

Now for the baking! I just put the loaf of chocolate cherry pecan bread down for its last rise, and while it's doing that, I'm going to make the pumpkin pie I promised ninjababe. It's not too much work since i had a pie crust leftover that I'd made over the holidays, so I'd tossed it in the freezer. So I just need to roll it out and make the filling.

What worked? Well, I've been meaning to see if I could transfer the awesome stylesheet Kate made for me over here. And I managed to do it without blowing the place up! Go me!

Thanks to this nifty tutorial, I was able to switch out the site scheme. Now the 'hand' scheme is white with black text.

Thanks to nameless_layout, I now have Flexible Squares here. Teh awesome!

I went ahead and created backup comms for Holby City Lounge and All Night Owl.

holbycitylounge, all_night_owl. So along with
highland_cross, I think that covers it.

I created an annex to Highland Cross here on Insane Journal: highland_cross.

Figured it wouldn't hurt to have a backup!
