WIP Amnesty: Alone Is The Last Place I Wanted To Be
Because I'm a lemming :) This is for the HL Chronicles WIP Amnesty.

This was the next in my series of Highlander/Grey's Anatomy fics. I started writing it at the end of second season of GA, and then it just sort of died. Or at the very least, pining for the Fjords! Part of the problem is that the story in the series I really wanted to write was 70 years in the future, and this one suffered for it. Will I ever finish it? I have no idea. I haven't touched it since last summer, so odds are... not. Or maybe I'll incorporate it into a flashback during one of the future stories -- I've done that before! I really need to do something with it, if only for the last bit, which contains one of my favourite lines ever.

I don't think think this is more than a PG13, anything that strays over is mostly innuendo.

Porn through the ages.... )

'The Final Word You Ever Uttered To Me Was Love' (01/01)
This takes place after 'Tragedy' and after the WIP I'm working on, but if you've been wanting another story in this series, here you go! The title is from the lyrics of the Snow Patrol song 'Make This Go On Forever'. No warnings I can think of, PG15ish, about 700 words.

This is nearing the last of the stories that are crossovers with Grey's Anatomy. The series is moving about 60 years into the future, and that story is 'Live To Tell'.

The Final Word You Ever Uttered To Me Was Love

Methos pressed his fingers into the knotted muscles of her shoulders, seeking out the familiar map of her body. Emily leaned into the pressure, sighing in pained pleasure at his touch. Then she was sagging back against him, molding herself into the chiseled length of his body. Slipping his hands around her waist, he pulled her closer. Arms enveloping her, he pressed his lips against the pulse at her throat, and felt more than heard the little vibration of contentment that escaped her lips. )

The Emily Stories: Irreconcilable Differences, Seriously, The Tragedy We Knew As The End, The Final Word You Ever Uttered To Me Was Love, So Close, Live to Tell. Use the series tag or the sidebar if you'd like to read them.

'The Tragedy That We Knew As The End' (01/01)
Because you asked, but not quite what you asked for, I know. I’m just that way. I started this with no idea that it would end the way it did. Perhaps the song that inspired this very short piece of fiction made this particular end inevitable. For now at least.

I hadn’t even intended to write this, but the song, my mood, a few glasses of wine, and Methos, produced the unexpected.

A story in the ‘Emily’ series. The first two being “Irreconcilable Differences” and “Seriously”. This is nearing the last of the stories that are crossovers with Grey's Anatomy. The series is moving about 60 years into the future, and that story is 'Live To Tell'.

Rating around a PG16 for adult sexual situations.

Methos doesn’t belong to me – but oh, if he did! Where was I? Oh yeah… Methos doesn’t belong to me, but Emily does. The usual :)

'Seriously' (01/01)
Below the curtain you will find the sequel to Irreconcilable Differences. I hope you enjoy it! I had a lot of fun writing it.

Notes & Disclaimers: a sequel to ‘Irreconcilable Differences', this one titled 'Seriously' -- it's a word/expression the characters on Grey's use a lot, and Nin and I have started incorporating it into our own conversations – it never fails to make us laugh. (We’re easily amused, what can I say?) So, as you might guess, this story is a little more lighthearted than the last one.

For those of you new to the series, a familiarity with Grey's isn't really necessary, I'm using the hospital as a framework for Methos, now a doctor once more, and exploring one of my favourite themes: the price of immortality.

The usual disclaimers apply: all Grey’s Anatomy and Highlander characters belong to their owners and creators, and that’s not me. However, all original characters belong to me.

Thanks to Mickey for beta reading and thanks to you for reading!

Rated around a PG/PG13, me thinks.

'So Close' (01/01)
Rating: PG13
Characters: Methos/OFC
Summary: Leaving is the hardest part of happily ever after.
Notes: This is another story in my Highlander/Grey’s Anatomy series. As usual, it’s more Highlander than it is Grey’s. The other stories are Irreconcilable Differences, Seriously, The Tragedy That We Knew As The End, The Final Word You Ever Uttered To Me Was Love. That being said, I have a feeling people are going to yell at me for this one. But remember, it’s an anti-Valentine story! And it’s me [g] You know how I am.

So close to reaching that famous happy end Almost believing this was not pretend And now you’re beside me and look how far we’ve come So far we are so close... )
